Volusion Design & Integration - You Need to Know More!

Working on a variety of ecommerce web design projects has not only honed our confidence but allowed us to explore and implement a variety of features on a variety of our client websites. 

One of our Australia based client approached us with a set of requirements which focused more on Volusion integration and not just redesign. It desired to have an ecommerce portal that is not only intuitive and user-friendly but also meets the desired business requirements. This client is a renowned dealer of souvenir products that are either manufactured or sourced through different suppliers from across the globe. 

Our designers chose a Volusion template that could be redesigned to display myriad numbers of products (there were around 300 of them). Volusion was chosen keeping in mind its advantages like ready-to-use template, sound navigation structure, integration with third party applications like payment, shipment channels etc. 

Menu pages like Home, Products, Testimonials, Contact were revamped to give a new look and feel. Payment gateway, Paypal was integrated along with different channels for shipment, tax etc. Search and buy the product – Search functionality was provided for the convenience of buyers. Custom form component was added to allow customers the ease to contact eStore for purchase or related issue. Social media was integrated on the portal too. The website supported Volusion mobile compatibility features. Also, our designers went a step ahead and provided another Volusion functionality that permits registered customers to view and purchase products from a complete range (all the products can be viewed and available for purchase). These registered customers were categorized as potential ones and enjoyed advantages over and above the non-registered and registered (non-potential) ones who had limited rights to view and purchase products of choice.  

In a nut shell, apart from Volusion template design and configuration, a variety of Volusion development features were integrated on our client’s portal for an enhanced user experience.
